Shalom and Welcome!! On Arrival at Queen Alia Jordan Airport, you will be met by your Representative, who will accompany you during your entire stay in Jordan.
As per your arrival (time permitting) we will visit Madaba (St. George Church & Mosaic Map) – The mosaic filled city of Madaba which is just 30 minutes south of Amman on the Kings Highway. The major highlight is the Greek Orthodox Basilica of St. George or the Church of the Map that portrays the old Holly Land with 2 million pieces of mosaic, a huge well -preserved work of art comprises a map of the entire region of Jordan and Palestine in the north, to Egypt in the south. Madaba in the present time is famous for its Mosaic Schools and hand-woven rugs.
Mount Nebo – Moses Mountain, situated 10 kilometers west of Madaba, overlooking the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, West Bank and Jerusalem, where believed the alleged sites of the tomb of Moses. The major highlight is the Byzantine Church built by the 4th century to memorial Prophet Moses death, and the spot where Moses viewed the “Land of Canaan” the Holy Land that he would not enter… You will be transferred to your hotel in Amman for check-in, dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, start the tour of Petra – Known as the ‘Pink-Rose City’ or the “Lost City”. It is one of the new Seven Wonders of the World. Take a breathtaking guided walking tour today through the ruins of ancient Petra – the city that the Nabateans carved out of solid rock dating back to 300 BC! special moments to walk through a passage the Siq, which dramatically opens to reveal the Treasury Building (Al-Khazneh). We will also see the Roman Theatre, Corinthian tomb, Palace of Pharoh’s Daughter, the Carved Roman Theater, the Royal Courts, along with one of the oldest Cathedral of the Bishop highchair. For those who can stand the strenuous climb, a path takes you up 1000 steps to the high place: an ancient Nabatean sacrificial site with an Altar cut from the rock.
Return to hotel overnight and dinner in Amman.
In the morning after breakfast and check-out, transfer to the border Sheikh Hussein crossing into Israel. After immigration formalities you will drive through the landscapes of Galilee and later for a ride in a replica of a Galilean fishing boat of that time, on the Sea of Galilee and where Jesus calmed the storm and walked on the water. Visit Capernaum – the center Jesus’ ministry after he left Nazareth, we stop at Tabgha – the Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fishes and the expressive Church of the Beatitudes, where Jesus gave the Sermon on the Mount. We make a brief halt at St. Peter’s house, the Church of Primacy of Peter and the place where Jesus bestowed St. Peter with his authority. This is believed to be the place where Jesus dined with his disciples. The flat rock known as Mensa Christ of Chris’s table commemorates this event. Go to the hotel for check-in dinner and overnight in north.
Today after breakfast at the hotel, we left Galilee for Jerusalem. First, we will visit Cana where Jesus performed his first Miracle, changing water into wine at the wedding feast. Then on to Nazareth, the boyhood town of Jesus and home of Mary and Joseph and visit the Basilica of the Annunciation built over the grotto where Archangel Gabriel appeared to announce that she would bear a son, Jesus. We also stop by Joseph’s workshop Later we will visit Haifa, Israel’s largest port city, built on the slopes of Mount Carmel. Visit the famous Persian Hanging Gardens for a view of the Bahai Shrine. We then make a brief halt at the Elijah cave at Stella Marris.
Then return to your hotel in Tiberias for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast and check out, we will start by visiting the Mt of Olives to the Church of Ascension, which commemorates the assents of Jesus to heaven, the Paternoster church, according to tradition, lye’s the cave where Jesus brought his decuples and spoke to them about the mystery of the end. Then continue to the panoramic view of Jerusalem for and from there, by foot to Dominos Flavit where Jesus wept over eminent destruction of Jerusalem. The chapels are built in the shape of a tear as a poignant reminder to this event, and then visit the Garden of Gethsemane where Jesus prayed while Judah betrayed him to the Romans. Visit the Basilica of agony. We then go to the pools of Beit Hasda, where Jesus held the crippled man. And from there we take the Via Dolorosa (Way of Grief), traditionally accepted as the last route trodden by Jesus. Follow the 14 Stations of the Cross to Golgotha, the place where Jesus was crucified marking significant events along the route. You will see the Pilate’s Judgments Hall, the Chapel of the Flagellation where, according to tradition, the Roman soldiers scourged Jesus and placed a crown of thorns on His head the Ecce Homo Arch. Visit Ecce Homo Church. The last 4 Stations of the Cross are inside the Church of the Holy Sepulcher visible from the distance, wish is two silver domes. Also “The Tomb” widely believed to be part of the stone that covered Jesus Tomb. In the afternoon, we go through the Jewish quarter to the Wailing Wall, which is the holiest place for the Jewish religion.
Return to the hotel for check in, dinner and overnight in Betlehem.
After breakfast, we will drive to have a magical intro to Tel Aviv, experiencing the busy beach line and the magical combination of business and pleasure which Tel Aviv is famous for with an amazing tour. We will Continue to Old Jaffa, an 8000-year-old port city; Visit the ancient ruins and walk along the restored artists’ quarter. Visit Neve Tzedek, the first neighborhood of Tel Aviv, built in 1887 and Carmel Market a vibrant marketplace where traders sell everything from clothing to spices, and fruit to electronics, visiting the Carmel Market is a fascinating thing to do in Tel Aviv. Next, stop at Sheinken, the lively and colorful street especially known for the unique shops, café life, and youthful ambiance.
Travel back to the hotel for dinner and overnight in Bethlehem.
Today morning after breakfast we’ll visit Ein Karem – the town of Judah and birthplace of John the Baptist, son of Elizabeth & Zechariah and the Church of Visitation. We then visit Mt Zion the cynical, the room for the last supper and King David’s Tomb. We also visit the church of St. Peter Gallicantu the site where Jesus was imprisoned by the High Priest before he was turned over to the Romans and the church of Dormition. Onto Bethlehem, it was here that the angel announced the birth of Jesus to the shepherds of Bethlehem during the reign of King Herod. Also, here David tended his flocks until he was anointed King of Israel. Visit the Church of Nativity and the Manger Square, view the Shepherds Fields.
Return to hotel for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast and check out, we will drive via the Judean Hills to the Dead Sea, the lowest place on earth. We will visit Jericho, the oldest city in the world. Stop at Zacheus Sycamore to see the oldest Sycamore tree, where Zacheus climbed to spot Jesus. Later we will visit the Qumran caves where the Dead Sea scrolls were found. Continue to the Dead Sea; Enjoy the unique opportunity to float in the Dead Sea and cover yourself with the mineral rich mud, that many believe has its therapeutic effects.
You will be transferred to Taba border to cross into Egypt. After immigration formalities, our representative in Egyptian side will assist for visa & immigration formalities.
Return to the hotel in Taba for check-in, dinner and overnight.
After breakfast and check out, proceed to St. Catherine (2 hours 30 Minutes) we will visit The Foothills of Mount Sinai St Catherine Monastery, Burning bush, Moses well. After that Proceed to Cairo, we will use the underwater tunnel of Suez Canal by road, (7 hours 30 Minutes). Evening we will drive to Cairo for check in, dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, visit St. Simon the Tanner. Enjoy the sightseeing tour at the GREAT PYRAMIDS then the SPHINX OF GIZA. Lunch, Visit the Hanging Church, then to the CHURCH OF ABU SERGA. Crypt where Mary, Joseph and the infant Jesus are said to have rested. Visit ST. SERGIUS CHURCH ending with a Nile Dinner Cruise and return the hotel for overnight.
