DAY 05

BETHLEHEM & NEW CITY

Today after breakfast and checkout, we will drive to visit Bethlehem, it was here that the angel announced the birth of Jesus to the shepherds of Bethlehem during the reign of King Herod; also, here David tended his flocks until he anointed King of Israel. Visit the Church of Nativity and the Manger Square; view the Shepherds Fields.

Drive to the New city of Jerusalem. View the Kenseth (Israel Parliament from out). Visit the Mahane Yehuda market. It is widely recognized as a symbol of Jerusalem. A bustling marketplace and a neighborhood, it intertwines food, drinks, shopping, bars, and restaurants. Despite being a tourist destination, the Mahane Yehuda market has maintained its most important characteristic: it remains authentic – as can be sensed by all the flavors and aromas, seen in its colorfulness, and heard in the traders’ interaction with the crowds.

As part of exploring the new city we’ll also drive through the ultra-orthodox neighborhoods of Jerusalem to understand their unique way of living.

Later drive to your Jerusalem hotel for check-in and overnight stay.
